winter white
JACKET // SHIRT // JEANS (similar here) // BOOTS (similar here and here) // BAG // SUNGLASSES

Does anyone still abide by the “no white after Labor Day” rule? I don’t, but I do believe in wearing what you like and whatever fits your personal style, not what others say you should or shouldn’t wear, what’s currently in or out, etc. I have always lived in the southern part of the country where winters are typically pretty mild, so it’s certainly easier to get away with wearing white year round. leopard cardiganCARDIGAN // SHIRT // JEANS (similar here) // SNEAKERS (similar here and here) // BAG (similar here) // SUNGLASSES

You know those weeks where you’re just feeling kind of blah? That’s this week for me. But this leopard cardigan helped to put a little pep in my step. I wanted them for a while, but since they are most definitely a splurge, I needed to make sure they weren’t a one season trend that would leave me regretting such a hefty purchase. After watching and patiently waiting for over a year (or maybe impatiently as it seemed they were everywhere), I was confident in my decision to buy them this past fall. read more

faux fur coat

COAT (similar here, here and here) // SHIRT // JEANS (similar here) // SHOES

It’s hard out here for a pimp. Inappropriate way to start a post featuring your not even two year old? Maybe. But seriously, this faux fur coat is a mixture of mob wives/rapper/teddy bear all wrapped in to one adorable package. I wasn’t really going for the oversized look, but since this coat was a Christmas gift splurge (grandparents give the toys, I give the fur) I wanted to size up to ensure Olivia will be able to get lots of use, and our money’s worth, out of it. She’s wearing a size 3T, so I am pretty confident this coat will be sticking around for at least the next 2 winters.  read more
