This jumpsuit probably looks familiar if you saw last week’s post of our mommy and me photos. I originally bought it to wear to Olivia’s baptism last December, so I’ve had it for a little over a year now and, as you can see, it’s gotten quite a bit of use since then! I was able to locate it on Gilt at an amazing price, so if jumpsuits are your thing you don’t want to miss out on this one. Clearly, a jumpsuit that is versatile enough to go from wearing to a baptism to pairing with a denim jacket and leopard clutch is worth investing in!
This jumpsuit is seriously so soft and basically feels like you’re wearing pajamas, which as a sleep deprived mom is always a plus. I love the wide leg style and that it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. As you can tell, the jumpsuit is pretty long (I’m 5’7″ and wearing heels), but has a raw hem so it can be easily (and inexpensively) altered to whatever length you need. Even though it just requires cutting, I would still recommend taking it to an expert who can cut it cleanly. Obviously I never cut mine – partly out of laziness if I’m being honest – since it drags the ground, but I just don’t wear it if I know I’m going somewhere that I’ll be walking around a lot.
I paired it with this oversized denim jacket and my go to clutch. It would also look super cute belted with a belt like this one that’s currently on my wish list. This is a look I would wear on a date night or to meet friends for drinks…it’s casual but feels a little more dressed up than wearing jeans.
Thanks for stopping by! xx
